Honoured this week to have @donaldrobertson on the podcast talking about cognitive behavioural therapy and stoicism. Donald is a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, author, and trainer. He has written six books on philosophy and psychotherapy, including the best-selling' Stoicism and The Art of Happiness and 'How To Think Like A Roman Emperor'. In this podcast, I take the opportunity to learn about stoicism, the relationship between ancient philosophy and CBT, what our culture can learn from the ancients, how wisdom works, the stoic values, why Stoicism is a philosophy of love, and why you need a philosophy of life. I hope you enjoy it! If you haven't already, I highly recommend getting Donald’s books and I consider them an antidote to many of the modern ailments we are experiencing at the moment, see his books at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Donald-Robertson/e/B002Q2WSPA?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_2&qid=1623850768&sr=8-2 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07D2C5NNV/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0 For Donald's website and more see: https://donaldrobertson.name/
